Our Team

Dr Choudhury (nee Mahtab) qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2003.
Since then, Dr Choudhury has completed further qualifications in sedation dentistry, cosmetic orthodontics, facial aesthetics and medico-legal reporting. In 2013, Dr Choudhury was recognised as one of the “Brightest 50” young British Bangladeshis in the UK by PRidea.

In 2014, whilst 8-months pregnant with her youngest son, Dr Choudhury acquired the practice which was formerly known as Crystalcare Dental Practice. She has worked diligently to produce the highest standards in care and service, rebranding the practice in 2018 to create her vision - Serenity Dental Spa.

Dr Choudhury is a proud mother of 2 young boys and when not working she enjoys travelling, reading and experimenting in the kitchen.

Dr Bara is a dental surgeon with a keen interest in oral surgery, dental implants and restorative dentistry. He has over 10 years’ experience in head and neck surgery and restorative dentistry. He qualified as a dental surgeon from the University of Leeds in 2008 with Honours and Distinction.
During his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery he published a number of articles in medical journals and has presented at international conferences.
To further his training, he completed the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010.
Dr Bara has continued his personal development by completing the Cosmetic Dentistry & Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry course in London as well as solidifying his surgical abilities in restorative dentistry and oral surgery by completing his training in dental Implants.
He spends his week working at a number of surgeries carrying out various disciplines of dentistry and dedicates a session a week for the past decade to support his colleagues with challenging oral surgery cases where he receives patient referrals from dentists all over the Greater Manchester region.
Dr Bara is an extremely caring dentist and is passionate in provide high quality pain free dentistry, Dr Bara is also trained in offering sedation for nervous patients
His expertise has led him to being a preferred provider of dental implants and he continues to research the latest techniques and materials used in this field.
Outside of Dentistry Dr Bara enjoys spending time with his three children and volunteers in local charity work as well as being a trustee of a humanitarian charity.

Dr Ullah is a skilled and approachable dentist known for his attention to detail, gentle care, and passion for helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. He graduated with distinction from the European University of Madrid in 2020, reflecting both his academic excellence and dedication to the profession.
Now practicing at Serenity Dental Spa, Dr Ullah offers a full range of dental services in a calming, spa-like environment. His special interests include clear braces for discreet teeth straightening and composite bonding to restore and enhance natural smiles with precision and artistry.
Combining advanced techniques with a patient-first approach, Dr. Ullah ensures that every visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Dr Ullah blends clinical excellence with a calm, caring manner — whether he’s guiding nervous patients through treatment or perfecting someone’s smile with a cosmetic touch. He loves keeping up to date with the latest techniques and is always looking for ways to make dental visits more comfortable and even enjoyable!
Outside of the practice, Kasim enjoys staying active and travelling, as well as spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Dariuss Mazahery is an aesthetic and restorative dentist with a passion for creating healthy, confident smiles through minimally invasive techniques. He has a particular interest in bespoke smile design, including composite bonding, porcelain veneers, and clear aligners.
Educated at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University of Sofia, Dr. Mazahery is committed to combining clinical excellence with a gentle, patient-centred approach.
Originally from a background in special needs education and care, Dariuss takes pride in providing a calm, comfortable experience for every patient—particularly those who feel anxious about dental treatment. He believes dentistry should not only restore function and aesthetics, but also build lasting trust and confidence.
A strong advocate for biomimetic dentistry, he focuses on preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible, using modern, evidence-based techniques that support long-term strength and durability.
Outside of dentistry, Dariuss is an avid tennis player and a passionate motorsport fan.

Wasima qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2015 and has been an invaluable member of our team since 2016. As a skilled dental hygienist therapist, Wasima is also able to undertake routine dental treatments on behalf of our dentists. These include fillings, x-rays and impressions.

Wasima has a special interest in paediatric dental care and facial aesthetics, having completed training in microdermabrasion facials and skin peels.
Wasima is a keen world traveller and has volunteered her dental skills to refugee camps in Asia.

Aisha - qualified from the University of Newcastle. She joined our team in 2023.
Outside of work Aisha loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Arun joined our team in 2022, he is a qualified Dental Hygenist back in India.

Arun is a hard and a dedicted member of Staff who will try and acheive the very best.

After work Arun likes to workout at the gym as well as listen to music and travel to new places. He spend most of the time with his family and at the same time continuing with further studies.

Nora joined our team in 2023. She is a qualified dental nurse and qualified in 2019. She is now a mother to a daughter who she loves to spend time with. She was previously a flight attendant living in the UAE for a few years, she loves to travel and has seen many countries.

Jasmine is a qualified dental nurse and patient care manager with 13 years of experience in dentistry. She is passionate about supporting patients, creating a calm, positive experience and helping the team deliver excellent care. Outside of work, she loves getting creative with macramé and making polymer-clay earrings. Jasmine is also a devoted tea lover with a definite sweet tooth and very much an early-nighter. She is a nature lover and you can often find her out on long walks with her husband.

Stella - has been a qualified dental nurse for over 10 years and joined our team back in 2024, Stella loves to spend time with her family and is kept busy with her two sons.

Fahima has over 10 years experience in dental nursing and joined our team in 2023. Outside of work she enjoys socialising with her friends and spending time with her family.

Katy is one of our amazing qualified dental nurses with 4 years of experience — and a heart for caring for others. She takes huge pride in her role and brings passion and positivity to everything she does.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her walking her dog, shopping with friends, curled up with a good book, at the cinema, or planning her next adventure around the world.

Youmna joined the clinic in July 2024 as our dental receptionist. She aims to create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient, whether it’s scheduling appointments , answering questions, or ensuring a smooth visit. Youmna greatly enjoys being part of the team and contributing to our welcoming environment.

Russell qualified from the University of Salford in 2000 with an honours degree in Marketing & Economics. He is registered with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Russell has been instrumental in the rebranding of Crystalcare Dental Practice to Serenity Dental Spa. Russell ensures that the non-clinical side of our practice is running smoothly and is always on hand to find the perfect financial solution for our patients.

Outside of work, Russell loves supporting Liverpool FC and watching sci-fi movies.
